Binary Puzzle

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026

Privacy at a glance

Binary Puzzle does not require an account, does not display advertising, and does not use third-party analytics or tracking. Puzzle activity is stored locally on your device.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the developer identified on the Binary Puzzle App Store product page ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Binary Puzzle app on iPhone or iPad.

2. Information stored on your device

Binary Puzzle stores the following information locally in the app's private storage area:

This information is used only to provide app features. It is not uploaded by Binary Puzzle to our servers because we do not operate an account, synchronization, or gameplay data service.

3. Data collection and tracking

Binary Puzzle does not collect personal information through the app. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or social networking SDKs. We do not sell personal information and do not track you across apps or websites.

The release version of the app does not transmit puzzle activity, statistics, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal content to us.

4. App Store purchases

Full Access purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Binary Puzzle receives verified entitlement information needed to determine whether Full Access is active. We do not receive your payment card number or complete billing information.

Apple handles purchase information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Purchase records remain associated with your App Store account and may be restored after local app data is deleted.

5. Notifications

If you choose to enable daily reminders, Binary Puzzle asks iOS for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on your device. We do not operate a push notification server and do not receive a push notification token. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings and change or disable reminders inside the app.

6. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to provide. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot the reported issue, prevent abuse, and maintain appropriate support records.

Please do not send payment card details, passwords, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information. Support messages may be processed by the email service used to receive and respond to them and are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and legal purposes.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or use personal information for advertising. Information may be disclosed only when you ask us to do so, when required by law, to protect users or our legal rights, or to service providers that process support communications on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

8. Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it from Binary Puzzle Settings or remove the app. The Delete Local Data command removes saved games, history, statistics, streaks, and preferences from the device. This action does not cancel or erase an App Store purchase.

To request deletion of a support email or other information you sent directly to us, contact us using the address below. We may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

9. Children's privacy

Binary Puzzle does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. The app does not require an account, include advertising, or provide social features. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Security

Local app data is protected by the security features of iOS and the device. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we limit information handling to what is necessary to operate the app and respond to support requests.

11. Your choices and rights

You can disable notifications, delete local app data, remove the app, and choose what information to include in a support request. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights regarding personal information you send directly to us, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion. Contact us to make a request.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will provide additional notice where required.
